That's what our prices start at. For a small simple and straight forward local move.

Do i have to help the removals company?
No, That's our job please leave the moving service to us.
How does the quote process work?
If you just need a rough guide price. We have online quote forms. (Phone number is optional)
Please allow us a few hours to work this out.
We will then complete the in-person survey or live video call survey. This it to confirm the pricing and plan your move properly.
How long can i spread the payments over?

Is there a deposit?

The deposit is paid in 2 halves. The total deposit is 25%
Some of it, is at time of signing your credit agreement. The other part is collected after you have been accepted and have a moving date.
Is there a credit check?
Yes, Our chosen finance provider will carry out the normal checks before proceeding.
Top tip! Spreading over the full 12 months reduces the monthly payment. This can help with affordability.
Is this type of finance regulated?
No, This type of finance falls outside of the scope of the FCSA at the moment. (This may change in the future)
This does mean it is easier to obtain. So you must ensure this type of finance is suitable for your circumstances.
Our finance partner will conduct the normal affordability and ID checks before approving.
How long does it take to accept me for removals finance?
It is normally instant.

Can i just pay in one go?
Yes, Sometimes we have offers for paying in one.
Can i sign the finance agreement by post?
No, It is an online document.
How exactly does a removals payment plan work?
After your quote is confirmed in person to ensure it is
accurate and the move is planned properly.

The deposit is paid in two separate transactions.
The finance company will take the first monthly payment at time of application.
This will also be the monthly payment amount going forward.
We will then collect the rest of the deposit later.
The total deposit will work out at 25% all together (give or take 2 pence)
Of the total quote amount.
The finance company (PIM) will take the first monthly payment straight away as part of their verification process.
We then take the rest of the deposit when you are ready to commit to a date.
If for any reason you do not meet their criteria. They will normally refund you within 3 working days,
(PIM) is a separate company that manages and funds finance for us.
We do not have any control over who they accept or do not accept for finance.

How long have you been trading?
over 10 years, We become Viking Group Ltd in March 2017 The Transporter Removals Southeast is our trading name for our home removals service.

How Does This Work?
25% deposit is payable at time of signing the finance agreement. The remaing 75% of the bill is paid over the following 11 months, after the move.
First get a moving quote from us. In person or via live video call. There are online estemate forms if you would like a rough price for now.
We will then send you the finance agreement to sign online. If you want to Pay Monthly for your house move.
The price on the finance agreement can not be edited once signed. So we do need to provide you with an accurate quote in person or via live video call first.

What Is A Base Rate?
That is what our prices start at for a typical straight-foward 1-2 bed property in the Thanet area. (We also cover the Southeast and beyond)
All moves include atleast a X3 man moving team, Mattress bags, Floor mats for high trafic areas, Washing machines disconected and a basic level of insurance.
Is There A Credit Check?
Yes, The finance provider will complete there normal checks and varification process. Don't worry its really straight-foward. (INSTANT DECISION)
Top Tip! Paying over the maximum 12 months is seen as more affordable for many.
How Long Can I Spread The Cost Over?
12 months or anything up-to 12 months. (The deposit counts as the first months payment)
DO I HAVE TO PAY MONTHLY?
No you can pay in one go if you prefer.
Is There Anything To Pay Upfront?
Yes, 25% is the depsit, The next payment will be one month later.
Are Deposits Refundable?
Deposits are partially refundable once a date has been booked. With the exception of not passing credit control. In that case you will recive a full refund of anything paid. Deposits are fully refundable up to the point of booking a specific date.
(Most moving companies take 50% upto the full amount. With us it is just 25% to book a date. You can change the date withought penalty if we have 14 days or more notice. You can get a full refund if you cancel and can give us 14 days or more notice.
What Areas Do You Cover?
Kent and Medway If you are moving to or from there then we cover England and Wales. Our main service areas are Margate, Ramsgate, Birchington, Heren Bay, Canterbury, Maidstone, Rochester, Dover and London. We do cover other area.

Yes, We provide full packing services and furniture wrapping services. We also sell boxes and other packing matirials.
